How does violent and property crime in your city stack up to other local areas?

The FBI compiles statistics for all cities in the United States, with the 2018 data recently released. Use our search to compare local cities and towns. Search by city, state or keyword. Use the advanced search for population and crime type to find similar results. Click on the Details link to find more detailed statistics, including murders, rape and motor vehicle theft.

  • Iowa’s results were not available, so 2017 data was used for this table
  • The FBI does not publish arson data unless it receives data from either the agency or the state for all 12 months of the calendar year.
