Friday

8:12 a.m. — A Winona man reported a Garmin GPS, fish locator, tackle box, three fishing rods, a battery tender and a power inverter stolen from a boat in storage near the 1750 block of Ronco Avenue.

8:37 a.m. — A Culligan Water Conditioning employee reported that someone had jacked up a company vehicle and unsuccessfully attempted to steal a wheel.

9:18 a.m. — Tammy Jean Reed, 33, Winona was cited for theft near the 1400 block of Service Drive after she was observed on video stealing a seat from a bicycle.

9:55 a.m. — A Winona man reported the theft of a TomTom GPS from an unlocked vehicle on the 700 block of West King Street.

12:12 p.m. — Ikea Tatajvoni Thomas, 29, Rochester, was cited for two counts of theft after she was caught stealing from MGM. She was subsequently arrested on an outstanding Olmsted County warrant.

12:59 p.m. — A Rollingstone woman reported a backpack containing a leased Chromebook from Winona State University, an Under Armour bag, a pair of Nike shoes and volleyball knee pads from an unlocked vehicle while it was parked on the 800 block of West King Street in Winona.

2:11 p.m. — A Winona man living on the 1250 block of West Broadway Street reported the theft of $1,500-$2,000 worth of tools taken from his garage sometime in the last week.

3:53 p.m. — A Winona woman living on West Mark Street reported that someone entered her unlocked detached garage and took a power washer and orbital sander sometime in the last week.

Saturday

7:21 a.m. — A Winona man reported that someone went into his fishing boat, located on the 1800 block of Mobile Drive, and took 8-10 LED lights valued at $50 a piece, a fishing rod, three life jackets and an anchor.

11:55 a.m. — A Winona woman reported an air pump, driver’s license and debit card stolen from her vehicle while it was parked on the 550 block of West Fourth Street.

3:29 p.m. — Damien Matias Rivera was cited for theft by swindle from Walmart.

11:35 p.m. — Adam William Bellman, 40, Winona, was ticketed with possession of brass knuckles and a switchblade after he allegedly threatened a bouncer at a bar near the intersection of Second and Market streets.

6:21 p.m. — Emanuel Tepole Anastacio, 36, St. Charles, was arrested for second-degree drunk driving, driving after revocation and fleeing a motor vehicle accident after he allegedly hit a vehicle, lost control and struck a semi. His blood-alcohol concentration was 0.21 percent.

6:21 p.m. — Damien Matias Rivera, 26, Winona, was cited for theft by swindle from Walmart.

Friday

8:39 p.m. — Jason Thomas Bernau, 36, Winona, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after he was stopped near the 30,000 block of County Road 12 in Winona. His blood-alcohol concentration was was 0.19 percent.

Saturday

9:07 a.m. — A 19-year-old man and 17-year-old boy were transported by Lewiston Ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester after they were involved in a single-vehicle accident near the 23,000 block of County Road 20. Deputies suspect the driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and alcohol may have been involved. The vehicle reportedly rolled 4-5 times before coming to a rest approximately 564 feet from the road. Charges are pending the results of a blood draw.

3:04 p.m. — The Winona County Sheriff’s Department and the Dakota Fire Department responded the area of Pool 7 on the Mississippi River after a boater experienced engine problems and got hung up on a submerged tree.

4:21 p.m. — The Winona County Sheriff’s Department and Winona Fire Department responded to a stranded boater near the Homer landing after the boater experienced engine problems.

Sunday

7:19 a.m. — THe Winona County Sheriff’s Department, Dakota, Pickwick, Nodine and Ridgeway Fire Departments responded to a report of a barn fire on one 41000 block of Papenfuss Drive. No injuries or animal loss were reported.

7:39 p.m. — Kenneth Galen Engel, 66, Fountain City, Wis., was arrested on suspicion of second-degree drunk driving, driving after cancelation, open container and speeding after he was stopped near the 11,000 block of County Road 6. His blood-alcohol concentration was was 0.17 percent.
