Friday

11:28 a.m. — An Altura man reported damage to his mailbox on the 1300 block of County Road 31 after he said firecrackers were placed inside overnight.

6:13 p.m. — A Minnesota City man reported the theft of three checks, totaling $68.

Sunday

12:57 a.m. — Lilli Danyel Shea, 19, St. Charles, was cited for minor consumption while driving when a deputy pulled her over for speeding and smelled alcohol in the vehicle. Shea’s blood alcohol content was 0.07.

5:16 p.m. — A round hay bale fell from a vehicle and struck a fence on the 3200 block of County Road 12 between Witoka and Centerville. The reporting party said the fence had been substantially damaged, and the sheriff’s office is looking for the bale’s owner.

8:28 a.m. — A man reported window damage to his car parked at the 1700 block of West Sixth Street, possibly created by BB gun pellets.

4:22 p.m. — A juvenile male reported that his backpack had been stolen from the side of the road near Kramer Drive and Elm Street after he set it down to retrieve a tricycle in the ditch nearby. The backpack contained contents valuing $490, including $300 worth of fishing lures, police said.

11:04 p.m. — A rattlesnake was reported on the 1350 block of Ridgewood Drive.

Saturday

1:04 p.m. — A rattlesnake was reported in a yard near Wood Park Road and Conrad Drive.

8:17 p.m. — A man reported the theft of a multi-speed bike with “Bobcat” written on it from a residence on the 700 block of West Sixth Street.

9:59 p.m. — William Arthur Pickard, 51, Winona, was ticketed for theft by shoplifting at Walmart.

Sunday

1:28 a.m. — Andrew Bernard Kjos, 19, La Crosse, was cited for disorderly conduct and trespassing after he entered a residence on the 300 block of Washington Street wearing only boxers. An officer later spotted him running down an alley screaming, police said, and the reporting party identified him as the person who had been in his home.

2:33 p.m. — A man reported that a rattlesnake that appeared to have been hit by a car was seen alive on the 1300 block of Conrad Drive. The snake was turned over to the DNR.

7:28 p.m. A rattlesnake was reported in a yard on the 1350 block of Conrad Drive.
