Senior Maggie Donahue is the daughter of Brandon and Betsy Donahue of Winona. Maggie describes herself as dependable, trustworthy, caring, dedicated and respectful, and she enjoys spending her time serving the people in the community. Maggie plays cello in the WSHS orchestra, is active at Faith Lutheran Church, and has been involved in dance since the age of three, at several places including Misty’s Unlimited Dance, where she has competed in contemporary, jazz, ballet, lyrical and pointe. Maggie lists English and Spanish as her favorite subjects, and she says that her parents are her role models. Faculty and staff describe Maggie as kind, hardworking, involved, nice and dependable. She is a talented young woman and a great leader, they say. After graduation, Maggie plans to attend Minnesota State-Mankato to major in elementary education and her advice to students is: “Meet as many new people outside of their friend group as possible. You can learn something from every person you meet.”

Senior Alyssa Adank is the daughter of Dean and Cindy Adank of Rollingstone. Alyssa describes herself as optimistic, outgoing, dedicated and compassionate, and she lists art as her favorite subject. Alyssa enjoys hiking, being outdoors and hanging out with friends, and she says that her parents are her role models. Faculty and staff describe Alyssa as responsible, mature, sweet, friendly and kind. She is a hardworking young woman with a positive attitude, they say. After graduation Alyssa plans to attend college and work and her advice to students is: “Make the best of high school, it goes by fast.”
