Although school is out for the summer, children still need to stay healthy. Once again, Winona Area Public Schools is providing free meals to children during the summer.

Each year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) partners with local organizations like Winona Area Public Schools to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer. This program is funded by the USDA and administered by the Minnesota Department of Education, Food and Nutrition Service.
