As part of its annual Bald Eagle Days celebration in June, the National Eagle Center will host a pair of interpretive cruises on Lake Pepin. The On the Lake cruises will take place on Saturday, June 22, and Sunday, June 23, aboard the Pearl of the Lake paddleboat in Lake City.

Similar to the Center’s popular eagle viewing field trips, the two-hour On the Lake cruises will serve as a floating classroom for guests. Each cruise will feature a naturalist program that talks about bald eagles, observed wildlife as well as Lake Pepin and its importance as critical wildlife habitat.

Cruises will run from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. both days, with boarding beginning at 3 p.m. at The Lakehouse restaurant dock in Lake City. Seats are $30 for National Eagle Center members and $40 for non-members. Refreshments will be available for purchase during the cruises.
