Habitat for Humanity Winona-Fillmore Counties is gearing up to expand services, open a new ReStore and launch a full-swing construction season. With so much change in store, the organization has added John Hokenstad as ReStore Driver. The ReStore offers free donation pick-ups, so donors can expect to see a friendly new face when they donate gently used and new building materials and furniture to the ReStore.

Hokenstad volunteered with Habitat for Humanity for three years before starting this position. He enjoys the atmosphere of the ReStore and working alongside volunteers.

Hokenstad says the reason Habitat for Humanity is such an important organization is that it provides people with affordable housing. Hokenstad lives in Winona with his wife Sue. He plans to spend this summer working on his house and hopes to head north for fishing.

To schedule a free donation pick-up, call the ReStore at 507-474-6075.
