Tuesday, June 4: Tasty Tuesdays, 10:30-11:30 a.m. In this new series held on the first Tuesday of every month, the co-op will introduce fruits and veggies to children 5 and under. Each child will receive a free fruits and veggies passport, which the co-op will use as a guide as everyone explores new tastes. Free, but space is limited. Please RSVP at 507-452-1815.

Saturday, June 8: Drop-In DIY, Natural Bug Spray, 10-11 a.m. Stop in and make your own all-natural bug spray. Fee: $5 owners, $7 non-owners. (Fee includes everything you need to make a 4-ounce bottle of bug spray.) No need to RSVP.

Thursday, June 13: Teen Cuisine, Vegetarian Sushi Rolls and Mindfulness, 5-7 p.m. Join Trish Johnson and Nico Stern (a teenager himself) as they lead our local teens through a fun, interactive evening of vegetarian sushi roll making and eating. This 2-hour class offers teens the opportunity to explore chopping, tasting, rolling and eating sushi together. Mindfulness, particular to mindful eating, will be incorporated throughout the class. Plan on lots of fun, engagement and plenty of delicious healthy food. This topic was requested by teens. Free, but space is limited. Please RSVP at 507-452-1815.

Saturday, June 15: Kids Cook, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Kids ages 5-12 will have fun in this interactive introduction to cooking. Free, but space is limited. Please RSVP at 507-452-1815.

Tuesday, June 18: Yoga at the Co-op, 12:05-12:50 p.m. Make a lunch date with your yoga mat at the Co-op. In this partnership with Infinity Wellness, the Co-op offers a free yoga class in the Community Room on the third Tuesday of each month. Mollee Sheehan will lead this gentle, all-levels 45-minute sequence. Please bring your yoga mat if have one. Free, but space is limited. Please RSVP at 507-452-1815.

Tuesday, June 18: Herb Walk, 6-7:30 p.m. Join Herbalist Bonnie Kreckow for a walk to identify woodland plants and learn their medicinal benefits. Meet at Farmers Park at the bottom of Lewiston Hill in the arches. In case of rain, the walk will be rescheduled. $12 BCC owners, $15 non-owners. Please RSVP at 507-452-1815.

Saturday, June 22: Class & Dinner: Let’s Roll! Sushi & Spring Rolls, 5:30-7:30 p.m.: Gain the skills to make veggie sushi and spring rolls in your own home. We’ll create custom sushi/spring rolls and a delicious dipping sauce. Learning the art of rolling sushi is fun, simple and makes a great reason to gather a group of friends to roll sushi together. You will leave with sushi to bring home and an evening to remember. Bring containers to take some home. Fee: $15 non-owner, $12 owner.

Sunday, June 30: Coffee Chat, 9-10:30 a.m. Ever wonder what it’s like to be on the Co-op board of directors? Stop in to chat with the board.
