Thorny Rose was a label created for Millennials by Millennials, with edgy, modern design and screw cap packaging. Thank goodness they didn’t overlook the wine.
This is a Columbia Valley wine from Washington that is primarily cabernet sauvignon (83 percent), with a blend of merlot (14 percent) and syrah (3 percent). There’s plenty of body, an intriguing blend of fruit and spices, and great value for the price.
Sherry: “A full-bodied mouthfeel of black cherry and licorice with a rose floral finish.” 3-1/2 stars
