Donna Mae Rupprecht, 86, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019, in Winona, surrounded by family and love.
Donna was born Aug. 31, 1932, to Edward H. and Linda L. (Haake) Habeck in Winona. She grew up on the family farm in Wilson Township with her mother, father and eight siblings. Donna met her husband, Marvin John Rupprecht, at the roller rink in Witoka, and they later married in 1951 in a double wedding with her twin sister, Diane. Donna and Marvin raised four children and delighted in many years of camping, snowmobiling and fellowship with family and friends. Marvin and Donna spent 17 winters in Arizona where they developed many cherished friendships. Donna will always be remembered for touching the lives of all she met with her sweet, gentle soul and her delicious cooking and baking. She lived her life as a true example of love, kindness, generosity and patience. Family came first to Donna and she had a special place in her heart for her children and grandchildren — she knew how to make each one of them feel special.
