FECAL INCONTINENCE RESEARCH STUDY Mayo Clinic is seeking volunteers with accidental bowel leakage, also known as fecal incontinence, to participate in a research study. The purpose of this study is to compare some of the standard treatments. We want to learn how safe they are, how well they work, and which is most effective. YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IF: • You experience accidental bowel leakage (fecal incontinence). • You do not have dementia. • You are able to walk on level surfaces by yourself or with a walker or cane.
