NORTHFIELD, Minn. — After picking up one of its more impressive victories of the season on Saturday, the Saint Mary’s University volleyball team couldn’t keep that momentum going Wednesday.
St. Olaf stayed a step or two ahead of the Cardinals the whole MIAC match before winning 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-22). SMU (8-7, 3-3), which is in the middle of a 12-match road trip, was coming off a 3-2 victory over conference leader Concordia on Saturday.
Carissa Hahn had 11 kills, Mary Nordick had nine kills, Lexi Assimos 26 assists and Lex Krogstad and Cathy Rennie 10 digs apiece for the Cardinals.
Katie Wolfram had 11 kills and Kersten Bork 33 assists for the Oles (7-11, 4-2).
