The Great River Shakespeare Festival announced the 2014 Concerts on the Green schedule Wednesday, which features Chastity Brown, Mike Munson and a variety of folk, rock and bluegrass-oriented groups.
All performances take place rain or shine prior to festival performances, and with a few exceptions (noted below) all start at 6 p.m. Concerts are held on “the green” outside Winona State University’s Performing Arts Center, where the festival's plays are performed, but this year there will also be a number held at Levee Park.
All concerts are free and open to the public. Food will be available for purchase, and picnicking is welcomed.

CORRECTION: A earlier version of this story incorrectly said that folk musician Charlie Parr will be a part of the music series. The editing error was based on an apparently inadvertent assumption that since the popular musician performs so frequently in the Winona area, he would be part of the series.
