A man and a woman suffered injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening Monday afternoon in a three-car crash on East Sarnia Street.

The male driver of a Buick LeSabre was eastbound about 1:30 p.m. when he collided with a westbound Chevrolet Equinox. The momentum of the impact sent the vehicles into an unoccupied parked Ford Taurus.

The owner of the Taurus, Mandy Beth, was inside working at Edward Jones Investment when she heard the crash.

“It just sounded like metal on metal,” she said.

She looked out the window, saw the collision and dialed 911.

“My car is a magnet for stuff like this,” she said. “I’m just glad it looks like everyone is going to be OK.”

Both of the drivers, whose identities were not released at the scene, were transported to the hospital via ambulance.

From the damage it looks like the eastbound car turned in front of the westbound car.
