(2009/05/28) The 2009 legislative session has ended and Minnesota still has a $6.4 billion budget deficit. After five months of being in session, the Democrat-controlled House and Senate gave us taxing and spending bills that Gov. Tim Pawlenty telegraphed early on as unacceptable.
(2009/05/22) Rochester has plans to get the high-speed rail between the Twin Cities and Chicago rerouted near Rochester. The city ignores the fact that the route takes the rail line nearly 50 miles off the most direct route.
