Alternate-side parking begins Saturday
By Daily News staff
.
Alternate-side parking starts Saturday. Park on the side of the street with odd numbered houses between 1 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Saturday, and on all other days ending in an odd number, to comply with the city ordinance. On early mornings of even numbered days, park on the side of the street where addresses end in even numbers.
The ordinance runs Nov. 1 through April 1, regardless of snowfall. All violators will be ticketed $25. Cars illegally parked during a snow emergency will be towed to Borkowski Towing and Salvage in Goodview, and owners will be charged more than $100.
