The quartet features violinists Nancy Oliveros and Ray Shows, Laura Sewell on cello and Annalee Wolf on viola. The concert will feature works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Dmitri Shostakovich and Jean Sibelius.
The ensemble formed in Boston in 1986 and has become nationally recognized as leaders for its commitment to education. It served as ensemble in residence and artist/teachers at the world-renowned Boston University’s
Tanglewood Institute and was awarded two highly sought after “Millennium Grants” for outreach activities from the National Endowment for the Arts and Chamber Music America.
