Cotter choir sponsors recycling to raise funds

The Cotter Show Choir is partnering with Miller Scrap for the second Green Recycling Program to raise money for the choir. The choir will collect items and deliver them to Miller Scrap.

Pick-up dates for electronic items will be Oct. 21, 23 and 25. Single-stop fees are $5, with no limit on the number of items. For appliances, a recycling fee and pick-up fee per appliance will apply. Neighborhood collections are encouraged.
Those interested will be contacted to schedule a date and time with a choir committee member. A community drop-off will be between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 25, with collection sites at the Elks Lodge parking lot at 4540 N. Service Drive in Goodview and at St. Teresa’s Tennis Center parking lot at 360 Vila St., Winona. Technology and electronic items will be collected for free, but donations are accepted. Recycling fees for appliances will apply.
