Staats won the 200-yard freestyle in 1 minute, 57.86 seconds and the 100 free in 54 seconds. Bastian was first in the 100 butterfly (1:04.34) and 50 free (25.91).
Staats and Bastian joined MacKenzie Brosnahan and Samantha Quandahl to win the 400 free relay in 3:49.05.
WSHS’s other first-place finish came from Tessa Morgan, who won the 50 free in 4:53.09. Brosnahan was second in the 200 individual medley (2:25.08) and 100 free (58.02).
Other second-place finishes were Lianna Hawthorne in diving (145.65), Quandahl in the 100 butterfly (1:05.13) and Angel Pingry in the 100 backstroke (1:06.85).

Roch. Lourdes 5, Cotter 1
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Sarah Spiten scored in the 33rd minute, pulling the Ramblers within 2-1 at halftime. Sarah Eichenberg made 15 saves for Cotter.
WSHS 0, Caledonia 0 (OT)
Lizzie Roque came up with 12 saves in keeping WSHS even with Caledonia in its final home game of the season.
Winona outshot Caledonia 12-7 and has just one home game left.
“Lizzie was really aggressive in goal and made some great saves,” WSHS coach Joan Wickstrom said. “She was just on the whole night. I can’t say enough how well she played.”
Boys soccer
Cotter 3, K-M 0
KASSON, Minn. — Brian Lubahn had a pair of goals to lead Cotter, which outshot Kasson-Mantorville 11-2.
Alex Lubahn had an assist on the first goal and John Sobolewski put the Ramblers (8-4-2, 4-2) up 2-0 at half.
The Ramblers head to Lake City on Thursday in what could decide second place in the Hiawatha Valley League.

Lakeville North 6, WSHS 1
LAKEVILLE, Minn. — The No. 7 Winhawks were eliminated from the Section 1AA playoffs with the first-round loss to No. 2 seed Lakeville North.
Andrea Jurkovic and Monica Sanvik at No. 2 doubles picked up the only win for WSHS, beating Emily Engelhart and Maddie Lindstrom 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.

LAKE CITY, Minn. — Allie Gernes beat Stephanie Brown 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles for the only win for the Ramblers.

Red Wing 3, WSHS 1
RED WING, Minn. — Winona High won the first game before dropping three close games in a nonconference loss.
Allison Martin had 20 assists, five kills and 29 digs to lead the Winhawks. Shauna Mahoney added 12 kills and 24 digs and Hannah Norman had 12 kills and 33 digs.
