2:39 a.m. — An officer saw Nathan Michael Ahlers, 21, of Winona lighting off fireworks in the middle of the street near Broadway and Center streets. Ahlers ran away as the officer approached, but the officer later found Ahlers sitting behind the wheel of a parked car on Fifth Street near Midtown Foods.
