Let’s see where to begin: We have spent two years watching Obama become the latest sex symbol on all the daytime TV shows, pandering to the 90 percent female audiences, covers of numerous magazines in swimsuits standing in the ocean with the captions, “Smart, Sexy and a Family Man,” then his speech in Denver in front of the Greek columns like some kind of Greek god.
Wow! You’re right — don’t vote for the cover of the book but rather its contents.
Maybe you should open it and actually view the contents of Obama’s and Palin’s books and then compare. You may be surprised, and then think twice before you tell people whom to vote for and how.
I love your comment on Palin and the teleprompter. Again, seriously? I find this funny because actually she is rather a good speaker unlike the great orator Obama who can’t seem to form a complete sentence without a prompter. In fact his campaign is making him take one with him to use on his campaign stops.
The condescending tone in your letter speaks volumes.
You gave many condescending reasons not to vote for her yet not one reason to vote otherwise. So let’s talk responsible voting. I agree we should not vote for a candidate’s looks.
We also shouldn’t vote because it will make us feel better?
The candidate of change is proving himself as “more of the same” — same lies, same checkered past, same questionable acquaintances, same old politician, but he is dreamy according to “The View.”
I love how people like to use Hitler examples; they never seem to get old. But hearing the policies of some in this election, maybe we should add Karl Marx’s name to some of the comparisons. My fear isn’t who will win this election but rather the mindset of some voters in this country. Like Churchill said, “The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.”
