Charges have yet to be filed, but Quentin Lamont Ingram, 24, remains in custody awaiting an appearance in court.
According to the police report, officers executed a search warrant at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ingram’s home in the 600 block of East Fourth Street after several controlled buys of drugs took place there, Deputy Chief Paul Bostrack said.
At least one controlled buy involved marijuana, but details of the buys were not available in the police report Wednesday because the information was forwarded to the county attorney’s office so a criminal complaint could be drafted, Bostrack said.
A woman inside the home during the execution of the warrant, Brittany Ann Swenson, 19, of Winona, was found to be in possession of two marijuana pipes. Police cited her for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ingram had been released from jail on $20,000 conditional bond for charges he sold 1.25 grams of crack cocaine to a police informant March 14 in the Sugarloaf Motel, according to the criminal complaint. Officers found a bag with 6.2 grams of crack cocaine inside, the police informant’s $200 buy money and a marijuana pipe, the complaint states.
He was scheduled for a pretrial hearing on those charges today with a jury trial set to begin Oct. 7.
