JM won all four singles matches while WSHS swept doubles play. The loss was the third 4-3 loss the Winhawks have had in Big Nine Conference play.
“We are playing very well in doubles,” WSHS coach Tom Sanvik said. “We’re trying to find a way to win in singles. If we had picked up a few more singles wins along the line, we would have a couple more wins.”
The teams of Allison Eddy/Olivia Eckhoff (6-2, 6-2), Andrea Jurkovic and Katelyn Glenna (6-3, 6-2) and Monica Sanvik and Carly Moran (6-0, 6-2) won their matches for the Winhawks.
