Great Lakes Brew Fest on Saturday in Racine

RACINE, Wis. (AP) — Here’s an event in keeping with Milwaukee and Wisconsin’s brewing traditions.

The Great Lakes Brew Fest promises samples of 250 craft beers and sodas from nearly 100 brewers from across the country next Saturday in Racine.
Organizers say they want to become the premier festival for craft brewers and craft beer drinkers in the Great Lakes region while raising money for the Racine Kilties Drum & Bugle Corps.

The fifth annual event is from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Festival Park in Racine.
