Waldorf College honors two

Two area students were among four presented with the Sophomore Honors Award at Waldorf College’s opening convocation Aug. 25. Samantha Kohner of Winona and Caitlin Leitzen of Canton, Minn., were chosen for exemplifying a commitment to academic excellence, strong character, leadership and campus involvement during their first year at Waldorf.

Kohner is business major, a member of the Waldorf Choir and is serving as a residence assistant this fall. Her parents are Douglas and Roxanne Kohner.
Leitzen is a communications major and a member of the Honors College, Waldorf Choir and “The Lobbyist,” Waldorf’s student newspaper. Her parents are Wayne and Sylvia Leitzen.
