The sheriff’s department says it was received reports of shots fired just before 4 a.m. on Sunday. They found a man in his mid 20s on the ground behind an apartment building.
Commander Mike Salter says the man died at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
No arrests have been made and police have not released the name of the victim.
