" Has anyone else noticed that if you click on the "TV schedule" on the WDN website, you are directed to La Crosse TV listings? "

" Darrell and others at the Daily News, thanks for listening to all the complaints.
I appreciate the bigger version of the tv guide. Would be nice if it was for the next day so people who work can set their recorders the night before. Thanks again. "

" There's this wonderful thing called the internet, that you can go on and search for TV schedules. I wouldn't be suprised if the local cable companies actually have a guide for all of their channels on their website.
Those who don't have the internet, can simply flip through the channels like everyone else. Or better yet, there's this astonishing channel that most cable providers have that's called the "TV Guide Channel", can you believe that it even tells you what's on for the day? AMAZING! "

Life will never be the same without it :( "

" Hey moosie! Do you miss your TV Times the same way that the mother/father/son/daughter etc. down the block misses their family member who is over in Iraq/Afghanistan? "

" Do people really plan their lives around television? Going through the guide and circling what they might like to watch is pathetic. Maybe going outside and doing something beneficial for yourself and your community would be more rewarding. Get over it people, it's a guide that tells you what is on TV, there are so many other ways you can find out what is on the idiot box!

" There is a weekly publication called "TV Guide" that has 24-7 TV listings. Check it out. "

" Wow, did we ever miss the TV listings!! Our family became disfunctional immediately. Please never, ever consider removing your column from the paper, what would our parakeet Moby have to aim at? "

" I really miss the TV Times. I especially liked having the week at a glance and circling the programs I was interested in watching. If you have to discontinue the Relish and American Profile sections to bring the TV Times back, please consider doing so. The crossword has been downsized to accommodate the daily tv schedule and I would appreciate having that back to full size. "

" I liked having the all day schedule for Saturday and Sunday. Also, I could circle things for the week that I didn't want to miss. The Relish and American Profile sections can be read on the web easier than the TV schedule. My computer isn't near the TV so it isn't easy to check the schedule even tho I have it programed into my homepage. The Chamber section that is published now is one place they could save on paper. When it was mentioned that we would be getting a daily schedule I thought it would be like some of the larger city papers where you got a complete listing of all the channels for the whole day. "

" That works if you have internet access Donald. I know an elderly woman who complained to the WDN about the TV listings insert disappearing and the snotty customer serice rep told her to look it up on the internet. When this elderly woman told the rep she didn't have a computer the rep told her she should get with the real world and purchase one! By the way WDN, if you're looking to save money, you could get rid of that god-awful Relish insert that is better suited to a much more metropolitan area, and even the American Profile one. That would give you money for the TV insert that so many of your elderly subscribers rely on. "

" At the on-line version of TV Guide, I was able to set preferences for HBC's channels. You can probably set it for Charter also. I saved it in the browser's favorites, and it will re-load still showing the local HBC schedule. Of course, it was more convenient having WDN's weekly on the coffee table. One can also find the daily comics on-line should that feature ever be discontinued.
It's getting to be that providing employment for our paper carrier (a friendly and conscientious chap) is one of the few remaining reasons for maintaining our subscription. "
