12:29 a.m. — Police received a report of several items stolen from a van parked in the 700 block of West Broadway sometime between 10:30 p.m. Monday and when the call came in. The van may have been unlocked and someone stole an iPod, a Apple laptop and a Cannondale mountain bike. No value was given on the items.

2:21 a.m. — A vehicle turned left off of County Road 21 near Saint Mary’s University, cutting off a vehicle traveling the opposite direction, causing it to brake. A sheriff’s deputy following the cut-off vehicle stopped Keith Edward Fahrforth, 21, of Warrenville, Ill., for failing to yield. Fahrforth appeared intoxicated and was taken to the jail, where a breath test found his blood-alcohol concentration to be 0.20 percent. He was referred to the county attorney’s office for charges of gross misdemeanor drunken driving and failure to yield.
12:26 p.m. — A 37-year-old Minnesota City man reported nearly $600 worth of fishing lures, tackle boxes, rods, reels and tools stolen from his boat parked in the Pla-Mor Campground and Marina on Highway 61 south of Winona. The man said he left his boat covered two weeks ago and returned Saturday to find the items missing.
