Englich has served as interim community liaison since 2005 and was instrumental in developing the position at WSU. In this role, she has developed the Adopt-A-Block and Neighborhood Mentor projects and helped coordinate Flood Recovery relief and Spruce Up Winona Day. She also works closely with the Center for Engaged Teaching and Scholarship to help promote increased student engagement in the Winona community.
Englich is a member of the Winona Public School Board and has previously served as educator for the Winona County Historical Society. She also has been involved with Friends of the Winona Public Library, the American Association of University Women, Winona County Master Gardeners, Winona Symphony Orchestra Association and the Winona Reads Program.
Englich serves on the boards of Project Fine, the Hiawatha Valley Education District and the Blue Heron Project Steering Committee.
She earned her undergraduate degree in English at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
