Thank God for cafeteria Catholics

.
Jim Galewski has proclaimed, “There is no such person as a pro-choice Catholic.”

He is just another in a long line of priests, bishops, popes and laypeople who have proclaimed such things as you can’t be a Catholic and believe:
The earth revolves around the sun,

Slavery is evil,

Genesis is mythology,

Evolution is true,

Family planning using the pill or condoms is good,

Women are equal to men as priests,

Those who ate meat on Friday never went to hell,

God doesn’t want Bavarian Catholics to cooperate with Hitler,

The love of gay people, like the love of non-gay people, is sacred.

Thank God for cafeteria Catholics.
