10:03 p.m. — An 18-year-old man reported a burglary at his home in the 1000 block of East King Street sometime between Saturday morning and Sunday evening. He said someone entered through an unlocked front door and stole an Xbox 360 controller, a digital camera and his girlfriend’s nail polish. Police have no suspects.

1:56 a.m. — A deputy on Highway 14 west of Rolling Hills Road near Lewiston clocked John David Carey, 31, of St. Paul, Minn., going 65 mph in a 55-mph zone. He was stopped and appeared intoxicated. Carey was arrested and refused to submit a breath test at the Winona County Jail. He was charged with drunken driving, test refusal and speeding.
Monday
10:40 p.m. — Deputies were called to the area of Main Street and Center Avenue in Altura, Minn., on a report of a car that hit a light pole. The driver, Travis Charles Spencer, 23, of Altura was arrested and cited for misdemeanor drunken driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.14 percent. He suffered a minor injury in the crash but denied medical treatment.
