MINNEAPOLIS (AP) _ The names of three Minnesota-born actresses will appear on blue, snowflake-shaped stars in the sidewalks of Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis.
Marion Ross of TV's "Happy Days," Loni Anderson from TV's "WKRP in Cincinnati," and Tippi Hedren, who appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds," are the first to be featured on Minnesota's own "Walk of Fame."
Karen Nelson of the Hennepin Theatre Trust says the stars will be placed in the sidewalk by late summer or early fall.
All three actresses plan visits to Minnesota for upcoming events.
The trust plans to add a handful of other stars later this year to honor more Minnesota actors, directors and others in show business.
