Woman dies after her motorcycle is rear-ended

MINNETONKA, Minn. (AP) — The State Patrol has identified a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash in Minnetonka.

The accident happened late Wednesday on westbound Highway 7 at Hennepin County Road 101.
Authorities say 44-year-old Shelly T. Macgillivray of Chanhassen was on a motorcycle when she was rear-ended by a pickup truck. She was thrown from the motorcycle and struck by at least two other vehicles.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.
