The event is free and gives people a chance to see the planes up close on the tarmac.
Other exhibits include the Winona Aeromodelers club of radio-controlled aircraft, the Winona County DARE program, the Red Wing Civil Air Patrol and the Medlink Helicopter. A truck from the Winona Fire Department and an inflatable bounce house will also be on hand for the little ones.
The air show begins at 10:30 a.m. and will include an aerobatics demonstration by trained pilots performing tricks such as barrel rolls, hammerhead stops, and spins and loops, event organizer Steve Buswell said. Airplane rides will also be available for between $10 and $12 per rider, he said.
A breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage is available from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The breakfast is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and children 12 and younger. Pilots who fly in eat free. Proceeds will pay for the demonstration, Buswell said.
