Thanks for the poppy success

I just want to send out a big thank you to all of the people and businesses, who gave donations of money to our recent poppy drive. The poppies you received for your donation are made by veterans. The legion then buys the poppy, and volunteer workers go to area businesses or get permission from local stores to try and get donations of money, in exchange for a poppy.

The American Legion Auxiliary is very grateful for your generous support that everyone has given; your support makes it possible for us to send a monthly check to the Winona County veterans van, to make sure all veterans get a ride to and from Fort Snelling and Tomah VA Hospital, for weekly doctor appointments.
We also hand deliver Christmas cards with a monetary gift enclosed to each veteran at the Mosher Home and our local hospice facilities during the holiday season.

This is just to name a few of our projects. Without all of your support during our poppy drive, chickencue and other fundraising functions this would not be possible. Your

support in all we do is
