Anderson delivers for Raiders

ARCADIA, Wis. — Micah Anderson did his best work in the clutch Friday night.

Anderson delivered three RBI singles — all with two outs — to lead Arcadia High School’s baseball team to a 5-4 win over Whitehall in Dairyland Conference play.

Anderson went 4-for-4 on the night and sparked the Raiders’ four-run third inning, in which Brandon Zastrow, Andy Meinerz and A.J. Bellville each recorded RBI singles.

Isaac Vazquez and Dylan Pronschinske each went 2-for-3 to lead Whitehall, which had seven hits but committed four errors in the loss.

BLAIR, Wis. — Lucas Howe and Hank Kujak each had two hits and three RBIs to lead Blair-Taylor past Independence/Gilmanton.

Jordan Zinn went 2-for-3, and Nate Nandory had a double for the Wildcats, who scored seven runs in the fourth inning.

West Salem 21, G-E-T 0 (5)

GALESVILLE, Wis. — Michael Knudtson led the way for West Salem over Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau by pitching a no-hitter, striking out six and walking three.

Brian Wright was 3-for-3 with a double and T.J. Holven went 3-for-3 with a double, a home run and six RBIs for West Salem, which scored 11 of its runs in the fourth inning.

Dan Schneider went 3-for-3 with a double, home run and two RBIs and Josh Zander had a double to go along with three RBIs for West Salem.
