4:37 p.m. — Police received a call from an individual who allegedly witnessed someone taking a bike from the Bob Welch Aquatic Center. The witness followed and stopped the suspect on the 1700 block of West Fifth Street. Officers arrived and ticketed a 14-year-old male from Dakota, Minn., for theft. The juvenile admitted to taking the bike and said he was “hot and tired of walking,” according to police. The approximate value of the bike is $400.

10:56 p.m. — Police responded to the 700 block of East Fourth Street for a domestic disturbance. Richard Jude Brown, 43, of Winona was cited for fifth-degree domestic assault for allegedly assaulting a woman. Police said the victim was not hospitalized.
