11:28 p.m. — Police pulled over Elizabeth Rebecca Hilke, 25, of Winona, for making wide turns, crossing the centerline and driving in the parking lane in the area of Third and Huff streets. A preliminary breath test found her blood-alcohol concentration to be 0.166 percent and she was arrested. She refused to take an Intoxilyzer test at the jail and was charged Friday with gross misdemeanor drunken driving and gross misdemeanor test refusal.

8:11 p.m. — Deputies and the Lewiston Fire Department responded to a small camper fire in the area of County Roads 29 and 18 just south of Lewiston. The camper is used as a warming house during the winter months while the owner works in the fields. It contained only a wood stove and a place to sit, police said. The camper, worth $400, was a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Thursday
6:29 p.m. — A St. Charles man reported the theft of fuel and a CB radio from one of his dump trucks on Nichols Spring Drive near Troy, Minn. The radio was worth $40. The man was unsure how much fuel was taken or whether it was gasoline or diesel. The man said his place was broken into last year as well, and the sheriff’s department advised he get a security system installed.
