Winona Clown Club: 7 p.m. the first Thursday of the month in the basement of the Odd Fellows Hall, 961 W. Fifth St. All interested persons invited to attend. For information, call (507) 452-5364, or look us up at www.winonaclownclub. org.

Winona Area Ballroom Dance:Meets the first Friday of the month at the Hilltop Bar and Ballroom. Meals are available preceding the dance, approximately 5 or 5:30 p.m. For information, call Jo Hittner, 452-3481.
Lois Club: Meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday for supper at the Country Kitchen. If your name is “Lois’ please come and join us.

Sequoia Society: Meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday for annual luncheon meeting and election of officers at the Marvin and Linda Seppanen Vineyard L.L.C. A tour of the winery will follow.

Sunrisers Kiwanis: Meets at 7 a.m. Wednesday at Country Kitchen, 1611 Service Drive. Prospective members and visitors are welcome.

Kiwanis Club, Circle K: Meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Winona State University.

Sunset Lions Club: Meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Thursday of the month at the Elks Lodge. Board meetings are the fourth Thursday of the month. New members and guests are welcome. Rivertown Lions: Board meetings are held at 6 p.m. and regular meetings are held at 7 p.m. the fourth Monday of each month at Grace Presbyterian Church, corner of Broadway and Franklin St.. American Legion Post 9: Executive board meetings are at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month. Regular post meetings are at 7 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month. Auxiliary executive board meetings are at 6:30 p.m., with regular auxiliary meetings at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month. The Voiture 580-40/8 promenade is at 7:30 p.m. the second Thursday of the month. Club rooms are open 10 a.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays. A games party is at 7 p.m. every Wednesday. Bingo and games night is at 7 p.m. every Wednesday. Proceeds are used for the nursing scholarship program.

VFW Post 1287: Post meetings are at 7:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month; ladies auxiliary meets at 7 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month; and the men’s auxiliary meets at noon the second Sunday of the month. Clubrooms are open at 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 2 p.m. Fridays, noon on Saturdays and Sundays (and 11 a.m. Sundays during the football season). Reduced prices from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Fish fry is the fourth Friday of the month; sandwiches and snacks are served on all other Fridays. Schafskopf begins at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays; call 454-1065 for reservations. All eligible veterans are invited to join. For details, call 454-1065 or stop at 117 Market St. Veterans who served in Korea are eligible. Nonprofit organizations may use the hall free of charge; a nominal fee is charged for nonprofit organizations.

Red Men: The board of directors meets at 7 p.m. the second Thursday of the month. Degree of Pocahontas meetings are at 3 p.m. the second Wednesday of the month, with lunch following. Red Men meets at 7 p.m. the third Thursday of the month. Schafskopf begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday; call 452-1050 for reservations.

Eagles Club: Trustee meetings are the second Wednesday of the month. Member meet at 6 p.m. Aerie meetings are the second and fourth Wednesdays. Members meet at 7 p.m. Auxiliary meets at 7 p.m. the first and third Monday of the month. Chicken fry is the first Saturday. Burger night is the first and third Wednesday of the month. A fish fry is the second Friday of the month. A New York strip steak fry is the last Saturday of the month. The public is welcome. For information, call 452-3409.

Rotary Club: Meets at 11:55 a.m. Wednesdays at the Westfield Golf Club.

Winona Area Barbershoppers: Meets at 7:30 p.m. Mondays at Faith Lutheran Church, 1717 Service Drive. Do you love to sing? Join our local chapter of this great national and international four-part singing organization. Winona International Dancers: Meets at 7 p.m. every Monday at Valencia Performing Arts Studio, 1164 W. Howard St. Beginners are welcome. No partner is needed. For information, call Sue at 452-3164 or Barb at 454-2734.

Winona Athletic Club: The board of directors meets at 7 p.m. the first Wednesday of every month. Membership meetings are at 7:30 p.m., after the board meeting. Members night is the first Wednesday of every month. A steak fry is from 5:30 to 8 p.m. every third Saturday of the month except for December. Happy hours are from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Club hours are 3 to 11:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Sunday. Nonprofit organizations may use the hall free of charge for meetings.

Winona Hims: Winona Hims, a men’s singing group, meets from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays at Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church, 1363 Homer Road. Selections include sacred and secular tunes in four-part harmony. All men who can carry a tune are invited.

Winona Elk’s Lodge 327: A fish fry is held from 5 to 8 p.m. the first Friday of the month; dining room open to the public. Chicken and biscuits served from 5 p.m. until gone the second Monday of the month; dining room open to the public. Lunches served 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday; open to the public. A membership meeting is held at 7 p.m. the first and third Thursday of the month. The club board meets at 6:30 p.m. the last Thursday of the month. All members are encouraged to attend.

Winona Exchange Club: Meets at noon Tuesdays at Timbers. The group supports programs that help prevent child abuse, recognizes students from Winona’s middle schools and provides civic-related services.

Crochet Club and Conversation: Meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays at the Acoustic Cafe.
