Duluth bank robbed

DULUTH, Minn. — Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in downtown Duluth.

The robber struck the US Bank on West Superior Street at about noon Wednesday.

Authorities say the man gave the teller a note demanding money. The note claimed the man was armed, but he did not show a weapon.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police believe the robber stayed at a local hotel and shopped in several stores before the robbery.

Duluth police and the FBI are investigating the robbery.
