Area roundup: Whitehall wins agains for Whitehall

.
WHITEHALL, Wis. — If Stacey Johnson is tired, she hasn’t shown it.

Johnson, a junior on Whitehall High School’s softball team, pitched her third complete game in two days and earned her second win over that span Tuesday to lead the Norse to a 2-0 win over Blair-Taylor.
“She doesn’t get tired,” Whitehall coach Karen Hull said, laughing. “She’s amazing.”

After striking out eight and walking none over a doubleheader split with Alma on Monday, Johnson struck out four and allowed just two B-T hits Tuesday. She also went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Whitehall’s Amanda Berg, who went 2-for-3, led off the bottom of the fifth inning with a triple and later scored the winning run on a passed ball.
