Johnson, a junior on Whitehall High School’s softball team, pitched her third complete game in two days and earned her second win over that span Tuesday to lead the Norse to a 2-0 win over Blair-Taylor.
“She doesn’t get tired,” Whitehall coach Karen Hull said, laughing. “She’s amazing.”
After striking out eight and walking none over a doubleheader split with Alma on Monday, Johnson struck out four and allowed just two B-T hits Tuesday. She also went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Whitehall’s Amanda Berg, who went 2-for-3, led off the bottom of the fifth inning with a triple and later scored the winning run on a passed ball.

WESTBY, Wis. — Kayla Finner struck out six and walked one over a complete-game victory, and Chelsi Quinn delivered a two-out single in the top of the seventh inning to score the winning run for Arcadia, which clinched the conference title.
Quinn went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for the Raiders, who won their 27th consecutive Coulee Conference game.

GALESVILLE, Wis. — Sami Weaver went 7-for-8 to lead Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau over the doubleheader split.
Weaver went 5-for-5 with a double, a triple, two home runs and four RBIs in the opener. Justine Emerson went 2-for-3 for G-E-T in the nightcap.
