Friday
3:16 p.m. — 917 E. King St. — A carbon monoxide/combustible gas monitor alarmed showing a combustible gas present. The residence was monitored but no evidence of a problem was found. 3:30 p.m.

8:38 p.m. — 700 Terrace Heights — Saint Mary’s University St. Ed’s Hall — Personnel responded to an active alarm and found that it had activated from food burning in the second-floor kitchen. Windows were opened to ventilate. 9:05 p.m.

Sunday

12:47 a.m. — 1790 W. Broadway — A medical alarm was pulled accidentally by a cat. 1 a.m.

9:10 a.m. — 517 W. Fourth St. — Personnel responded to a vehicle fire. The engine and passenger area were fully involved. The fire was extinguished. 9:45 a.m.

11:50 a.m. — 362 W. Fourth St. — Personnel responded to a report of an illegal burn. They found the homeowner burning stuff in an unapproved appliance. They were informed of the ordinance and asked to extinguish the fire. 12:05 p.m.

6:27 p.m. — West Bike Path — A dead tree was burning. Personnel cut it down and extinguished the fire. 7:05 p.m.

Monday

7:52 p.m. — 2001 Theurer Blvd. — Personnel responded to a fire alarm. It appeared that the pull station was struck by a cart or a forklift, damaging the electrical box that the pull station was wired to and causing the alarm. 8:20 p.m.

8:18 p.m. — 97 Forest Oaks Court — Personnel responded to an active carbon monoxide detector. They monitored the building and found no evidence. 8:55 p.m.
