Poppy season for American Legion

.
It’s poppy season again at the American Legion Auxiliary, and some post members will be out asking for donations for our yearly poppy drive.

I know our economy is not the best, and the price of everything going up makes it hard for people to give a donation. All of our money raised goes back to the veterans in our local area. We donate monthly to our local veterans van that transports our veterans to the hospital and clinic in the Twin Cities and Tomah. We provide Christmas cards with a gift of money to each veteran at the Mosher Home as well as the home in Winona. We provide scholarships for veteran family members.
You can mail a donation to the American Legion Poppy Drive at 265 E. 3rd St., Winona, MN, 55987. We encourage you to give to this worth while program.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Cada is president of the Winona American Legion Auxiliary
