Friday morning, April 18, 2008 Winona Friday 2:25 a.m. n Police received a report of suspicious activity in the area of Sanborn and Laird streets. The caller re-ported seeing four college-aged people walking along the street with a large, glass lawn ornament. When officers arrived, two of them said the green globe was a “party trophy” that travels from party to party. Because they didn’t know who the globe actually belonged to, officers confiscated it for safe keeping.
