Thursday morning, April 10, 2008 Winona County Saturday 1:08 a.m. n While investigating a burglary on Runaway Drive in Dakota, Minn., a pickup truck pulled up to deputies to inquire what was going on. Both occupants appeared intoxicated and deputies arrested the driver Dale Wade Schuldt, 40, of Dakota, on suspicion of drunken driving. Officers found a marijuana pipe in his pants pocket and an open can of Budweiser beer in the center console, which Schuldt admitted was his. Schuldt had a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.20 percent and was referred to the county attorney’s office for charges of gross misdemeanor drunken driving, open bottle in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
