Deane C. Hassig
PLAINVIEW, Minn. — Deane C. Hassig, 95, of Plainview died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester, Minn.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joachims Catholic Church, Plainview. Burial at St. Joachims Cemetery.

Visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Schad and Zabel Funeral Home, Plainview, with rosary at 5:15 p.m. Visitation one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.

Robert Miller

COCHRANE, Wis. — Robert Miller, of Cochrane, died Friday, April 4, 2008, at Community Memorial Hospital.

Arrangements are pending at the Talbot Family Funeral Home, Cochrane Chapel.

Adam J. Benish

Aug. 29, 1976 — April 1, 2008

Adam J. Benish passed away unexpectedly on April 1, 2008.

Adam is survived by his loving wife, Amy M. Benish (Schildknecht) of Joliet, Ill.; parents, Edward and Pamela Benish of Winona; sister, Lisa Benish of St. Paul; paternal grandmother, Mary D. Benish of Mason City, Iowa; maternal grandfather, Lester Marth of Mason City; father-in-law, Adolph J. Schildknecht and Christina Wiersgalla of Eau Claire, Wis.; mother-in-law, Donna M. Schildknecht and Kenneth Stark of Winona, brother-in-law, Adolph T. and Amanda Schildknecht of Winona; nephew, A. Dawson Schildknecht of Winona; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and loving dog “Daisy.“

Preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Raymond F. Benish; and maternal grandmother, Doris Marth.

Born Aug. 29, 1976, in Mason City, Adam was a devoted husband, loving son and brother. He was an avid international traveler, restorer of old homes, had an inquisitive mind and a wonderful sense of humor.

Adam was an engineer for International Titanium Powder, LLC, Lockport, Ill. He also served for the United States Navy (1995-2001) as a nuclear machinist mate stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. He graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1995, recently graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a bachelor of science degree in materials science and engineering, and was pursuing a master’s degree in materials science and engineering.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to the Illinois Institute of Technology for a scholarship fund in memory of Adam J. Benish.

Donna M. Wilson

Aug. 18, 1936 — April 4, 2008

DAKOTA, Minn. — Donna M. Wilson, 71, of Dakota passed away on Friday, April 4, 2008, at Franciscan-Skemp Medical Center in La Crosse, Wis. She was born on Aug. 18, 1936, in La Crosse to Elmer and Olga (Jorgenson) Trocinske. On Aug. 23, 1958, she married Rolland “Cooney” Wilson at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dakota.

Donna was extremely devoted to her family and was always placing other’s needs ahead of her own. She enjoyed reading, drawing and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dakota.

In addition to her husband “Cooney” she is survived by her five children, Teri (Craig) Vitcenda and Cyndy (Nick) Baumgartner both of Dakota, Tom (Angie) Wilson of La Crescent, Minn., David Wilson and Scott Wilson both of Dakota; 12 grandchildren, Leah, Jenna, Nikki, Bradley, Alexa, Sam, Jon, Stephanie, Melissa, Josh, Jessica and Andy; two great-grandchildren, Kaden and Kole; three brothers, the Rev. La Vern E. Trocinski of Rochester, Minn., Donald “Fib” (Zoeann) Trocinske and Robert (Sandi) Trocinske both of Hokah, Minn.

She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Wilson, and her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of the Crucifixion in La Crescent.The Rev. La Vern E. Trocinski and Msgr. Donald W. Grubisch will officiate.

Burial will follow in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Dakota. Friends and family may call on Sunday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crescent with a rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m.

Lisa Jean (Flint) Delaurante

Feb. 19, 1966 — March 27, 2008

YOAKUM, Texas — Lisa Jean (Flint) Delaurante died Thursday, March 27, 2008, in her home in Yoakum. Lisa Jean is survived by her father, Dr. Ronald Flint of Lubbock, Texas; and brother, Richard Flint of Las Animas, Colo.

“Although we were apart from you, unable to help you through the turmoil, we loved you and will miss you very much.”
