Friday
7 a.m. n Police responded to a report of a damaged vehicle in the 1750 block of Kraemer Drive. Upon arrival, a 23-year-old woman showed officers four slashed tires on her Dodge Durango and told them she received a text message from her ex-boyfriend, whom she has a restraining order against. Police later found and arrested a 29-year-old Winona man on suspicion of violating an order for protection. He was referred to the county attorney’s office for charges.
Saturday
12:40 a.m. n Police stopped Robert Earl Jones, 44, of Stewartville, Minn. for squealing his tires and speeding on Broadway Street near Huff Street. Reeking of alcohol, Jones was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and had a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.21 percent. He was charged Monday with gross misdemeanor drunken driving.
Sunday
9:20 a.m. n David Alan Baker, 19, of Winona was cited for theft by shoplifting at Fleet Farm. He was caught stealing $4.77 worth of candy and sunflower seeds.
5:08 p.m. n Beneah N. Jaye, 61, of Cochrane, Wis. was cited for theft by shoplifting at Wal-Mart. She was caught stealing several items including apple dip, a chocolate bar and Nicorette gum all worth $68.37.
Monday
12:36 a.m. n Officers responded to a call of a fight in the 900 block of East Mark Street. There was no fight but they did find a loud party and watched as several juveniles jumped out a back window and fled the scene. The officers gave chase and cited two boys for fleeing police on foot and for underage drinking. One boy was 17 years old from Goodview and the other was 16 from Winona.
1:51 a.m. n Two 16-year-olds from Winona were ticketed for underage drinking and violating curfew after a car they were in was stopped in the 900 block of East Mark Street. The boy and girl were both released to their parents.

Sunday
1 a.m. n Michael Noah Onstad, 26, of Winona was stopped on Highway 248 near Stewart Valley Drive outside Minnesota City for not having a license plate light. He had a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.10 percent, was cited for misdemeanor drunken driving and released.
2:45 a.m. n Deputies pulled over Jerome Anthony Turner, 29, of Fountain City, Wis. for having a headlight out in the area of Highways 61 and 248 north of Minnesota City. Turner was cited for misdemeanor drunken driving and held overnight for court Monday morning where he pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a $400 fine.
