However, there has been no discussion about what impact having two teachers from the same school would have on the students, the school and the taxpayers. In fact, all of the above will pay a heavy price to put Linda Pfeilsticker in the Minnesota House on Aug. 7.
Pfeilsticker teaches social studies in a classroom right next to Rep. Gene Pelowski at Winona Senior High School. When they would both be gone playing politics in St. Paul from January to May and during any protracted special sessions during the fall semester, the social studies department would have to be heavily staffed with expensive substitutes who will not be up to speed.
If Pfeilsticker is elected, southeast Minnesota would be represented by not only one, but two union, government employees double-dipping on salaries, benefits and pensions.
This is a sure bet for out-of-control spending by people who do not live among the taxpayers who work in the real world to pay the bills of the government.
Steve Drazkowski would be a much better choice.
