There, in addition to her teaching, she has served for the past seven years as the Winona Education Association head negotiator. In this capacity, she has earned the trust of teachers and administrators.
I had the opportunity to hear her speak and was impressed by her articulate good humor and her steady focus on the real issues that unite us such as education, affordable health care and the economics of farming.
Linda stressed her intent to continue working on these problems in St. Paul, rather than being distracted by the social concerns that are so often used by some to divide people.
Perhaps Linda’s focus comes from her college major in political science. She shares a background in political science with Tim Walz, our freshman Congressman from the 1st District, who has gained respect from people throughout the country for his down-to-earth focus on the serious issues facing our country.
Voters in District 28B, don’t forget to go to the polls Aug. 7 and vote for a calm and unifying voice.
It’s time for a change, so please vote for Linda Pfeilsticker.
