Pfeilsticker will be a help in St. Paul

I am very excited to hear that Linda Pfeilsticker is running for the Minnesota State Legislature in District 28B. Before retiring from teaching at Winona Senior High School, I had the opportunity to know Linda as a social studies teacher, as a colleague and as an active member of the Winona Education Association.

Linda is an intelligent, concerned and dedicated teacher. She works well with students, challenging all students to perform at their best and accommodating students’ individual needs. As a colleague, she was open and welcoming to everyone and exhibited a sense of confidentiality and professionalism.
In her work with WEA, she showed initiative and ability. When still a new young teacher in Winona, she stepped right up, volunteering to do hard work and take positions of leadership. She did the research needed to become a knowledgeable negotiator.

Linda will put all of these valuable traits into action as a legislator in St. Paul. I have no doubt that she will be as concerned about and dedicated to the needs of her constituents as she has been to her students and colleagues. Her intelligence and initiative will serve her well as she deals with the tremendous load of information and work that faces all legislators, especially new ones. The people of District 28B will be well served if Linda wins this election.
